When Dracula Bites Me on a Trade Show

Dear Bloggers, one day, on a Friday the 13th, I came to a trade show held in the campus of my university. There were a lot of products offered such as books, clothing, computers, films, etc. Several products were displayed on some trade show booths outside the buildings, under the sun. While some others were displayed inside the university building i.e. movies, computers, etc. Each product type was placed in a room made of “pipe and drape”.

It was the last day of the trade show. Firstly, I visited the trade show held outside the building. There were a lot of banner stands displaying logos, artworks, marketing messages, etc. Everything looked good. I wonder if it was a good work. Local newspapers reported about total transactions recorded at this trade show, that it already exceeds its previous transaction, although this trade show is not finish yet. I was thinking in my mind, “While internet marketing tends to grow in its role, trade show still exists in its own role on marketing of a product. Marketer should not abide trade show equipment’s role in attracting customers. The better these equipments, i.e. displays, banner stands, table skirts, “pipe and drape”, as well as trade show booths, may the better transactions will be recorded”.

Having about three hours visit outside the building, I then came into the university building to visit the trade show held here. While milieu out side there was crowded, milieu here felt calm. Not too crowded. I looked around. Most of rooms here were made of equipments what is called “pipe & drape”, which is used at trade shows or trade fairs to make trade show booths. They are made of aluminum pipes and fire retardant fabrics that can make 10x10, 10x12 or 20x20 booths.

I visited every room here, when I finally entered a movie show room. I took a sheet to saw the movie played here. I enjoyed the movie, since it’s a romantic movie, my favorite movie. But, everything became in disarray, when suddenly, in that movie, a boyfriend whose going to kiss his girlfriend became different to be a Dracula. He bites his girlfriend until she was dead. Moreover, the Dracula went off the screen. He walked down and getting close to me. As he was going to bite me, I pulled out a pipe beside me. I hit him while screaming: “..Urghh… got y..!!” But, suddenly I woke up. Oh, my God. It’s just a dream, a bad dream!!!
